The Henry Surtees Foundation are delighted to announce a donation of £25,410 to Wheelpower the national charity for wheelchair sport – helping more than 78,000 disabled people to get physically active & play sport each year.  Based in Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the birthplace of the Paralympics Movement they work nationwide with children & adults with a wide range of disabilities including spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy & limb loss.

WheelPower delivers a range of sports rehab programmes and events to suit disability & then provide ongoing support to help people find local clubs & facilities where they can remain active.  Wheelpower said “We are thrilled that the Foundation have chosen to support our Inter Spinal Unit Games 2020.  The donation will help us bring 120 recently paralysed people from across the UK to the home of the Paralympic movement for 3 days of wheelchair sport.  The Games are 100% charitably funded and would not go ahead without the generosity of donors like The Henry Surtees Foundation ”.
